Baked Custard


Baked custard is a thick, rich, creamy sweet or savory dessert, made with mixtures of eggs or egg yolks, milk or cream, flavorings (vanilla, nutmeg, etc).

4 eggs
1 tin of condensed milk
1 tin of evaporated milk
1 tablespoon of custard powder
1/2 teaspoon of grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon of essence

This amount of ingredients makes 6 servings. Whip everything together, pour into a pan, place pan into another pan that’s filled 1/4 way with water (a water bath so that the mixture can steam). Bake at 200 degrees for 45- 60 minutes. It’s done when the utensil you insert in the middle comes out clean. Enjoy!
